Is today Sunday?

music: My brother whining about Chinese food
When I walk down to see my boyfriend, who by god's gift lives 2 1/2 blocks away from me, this very old woman sometimes stands outside or screams questions from her house.
She always asks me one particular question, while standing without any underwear or pants.
She asks me what day of the week it is.
Today she was screaming, "IS TODAY SUNDAY, IS TODAY SUNDAY, MS., IS TODAY SUNDAY?!"
I REPLIED WITH A "YES MA'AM, TODAY IS SUNDAY."
I wonder why it doesn’t occur to her about getting a calendar and just crossing off the days with a marker, so she could keep track of what day it was.
But it also never occurred to me as to why I had never asked her where her pants were.
